Somewhere between Tapachula and Mexico City, a migrant opens TikTok to find out how to apply for asylum in Mexico. What they find is an account that mimics Telemundo's colors and typography, offering a process that is actually free for $750. There's no need to invent dystopian scenarios: fraud already operates on a large scale, with branding, design, and distribution strategies. However, despite this extremely complex situation, there are already organizations—many of them founded by migrants themselves—that are developing, producing, and circulating accurate information.

We are pleased to introduce WorkMatch, one of the five solutions that emerged from the Hello Accelerator. Co-created with changemakers, WorkMatch is a digital solution designed to build sustainable employment ecosystems for migrants and refugees in Europe.

Lala, founder of Fundación Comparte, is redefining migration leadership. Across Colombia and Latin America, migrants face systemic barriers to education and opportunity. Through her “Stay in School” model, schools become platforms for citizenship and shared leadership, placing young people on the move at the center of change. No one is too new or too different to lead. When newcomers participate, societies grow more resilient and innovative.

Hello Europe Tour stopped in Milan to explore how cities and young people are reimagining migration. We brought together people on the move, city leaders, social entrepreneurs, and young changemakers to highlight how migration is already reshaping Milan, not as a challenge, but as a source of creativity, civic energy, and shared future-building.

As part of the EPIC-UP Policy Lab, we explored how emergency responses to migration can evolve into long-term inclusion strategies. Sharing our learnings from the power of cross-sector collaboration to the importance of decentralization and migrant leadership and why rethinking emergency frameworks is essential for more resilient and inclusive systems.

In March 2025, the Hello Europe Tour continued its journey in London, bringing together a vibrant mix of changemakers, social entrepreneurs, business and policy leaders, and philanthropists to reimagine migration through the lens of social innovation.
