The Journey: From Connection to Collaboration
Launched in 2024, the Hello Accelerator is a global platform where changeleaders from social entrepreneurs, businesses, policymakers, academia, and media come together to unlock systemic change in the field of migration.
The Hello Accelerator unfolds in three interconnected phases, each designed to nurture collaboration, trust, and systemic vision.
1. Spot, Connect & Collaborate: Strategy Phase
We start by mapping migration ecosystems across Europe and Latin America, identifying changemakers, organizations, and institutions driving inclusion and innovation. This process allowed us to bring the right people into the same room, those ready to collaborate across boundaries.
Between October 2024 and February 2025, 18 European and 18 Latin American changemakers from diverse sectors came together to examine root causes, from labor mobility to socioeconomic inclusion and integration strategies and to co-create collaborative solutions.
Over six online sessions, these selected cohorts analyzed challenges within the migration ecosystem, exchanged experiences, and built actionable solutions from a multi-stakeholder perspective.
We also mobilized and engaged 300+ leaders through The Insights Network, a broader community of changemakers who help identify blind spots, provide feedback at key moments of the acceleration journey, and exchange valuable insights they can apply in their own work.
At the end of this phase, four ideas for solutions emerged reflecting shared priorities across regions and sectors. These ideas now serve as the foundation for the Development Phase of the journey, where working groups prototypes solutions that can drive systemic change in migration and inclusion.
2. From Insights to Solutions: Development Phase
Between March and November 2025, these new Working Groups, bringing together both existing and newly selected changemakers, co-create prototypes that tackle systemic barriers, from narrative change and policy collaboration to skills recognition and inclusive employment models. These prototypes are shared with funders and experts, refined through continuous feedback, and strengthened by a systems change approach to ensure lasting impact.
3. Growing Impact Together: Implementation Phase
Starting in 2026, promising prototypes evolve into cross-sector collaborations. Working Groups and selected solutions join forces with businesses, policymakers, and other key actors to scale their work and influence systems. Partnerships become the engine of sustainability, and collective impact begins to ripple across sectors and regions.

The co-creative process resulted in four ideas for solutions, each supported by a dedicated Working Group. These groups are developing the ideas into concrete solutions, engaging testing partners, and securing funding for piloting.
