From Insights to Solutions: Development Phase

Between October 2024 and February 2025, 18 European and 18 Latin American changemakers from diverse sectors came together to examine root causes — from labor mobility to socioeconomic inclusion and integration strategies — and to co-create collaborative solutions.


Skill recognition system

Establish a system that allows for the recognition of skills and prior experience throughout the region, facilitating the validation of qualifications and access to jobs that match the capabilities of migrants and refugees.

Innovative employment systems for migrants and refugees

Develop a new employment framework that can serve as a model for labor integration for migrants, along with other groups. The framework should be applicable to different industries and provide solutions that equate to comprehensive employment for people on the move.

Financial inclusion tools for migrant women

Develop a multi-stakeholder platform that provides information, networks, and concrete opportunities for financial inclusion services for migrant and refugee women in Latin America.
